Am I up and running yet?

About an hour ago I created a blog through the Android app. I appear to have succeeded, but I haven’t yet received a confirmation letter. I can edit, post, change appearance, etc of the blog, but I don’t know if it is “live” yet. I did try to search for it in Google, but I think it is currently so generic that it would show up on the 340th page or more, so I didn’t go through them all.
My questions are: is my blog actually up and running, and if not, what more do I need to do?

PS – it takes search engines 4 to 6 weeks to index a new site and that is if you blog a bit on it – so Patience there
