Amazon Associate link on wordpress blog

  How and/or where do I place the link to Amazon (as an Amazon Associate) in the widget/link on my blog. When I try to place it in the space for the relevant URL, it is not accepted (as Amazon does not provide a simple URL).

  Hi there, it’s not possible to put Flash or JavaScript Amazon widgets on WordPress.com, as those aren’t types of code that we allow here.

  You’ll need to find a plain text or HTML link and use that – it’s among the options Amazon provides for individual products.

  Just let me know if you need further help.

  From what I can see on the relevant Amazon pages, they only provide HTML code. Could you perhaps point me in the right direction?

  Hi Aren, HTML code should be fine if doesn’t haveany JavaScript or Flash. Just flip to Text view in your editor and paste it into the editor.
