Amplify Post?

  I’m sometimes tempted to hit the ‘amplify post’ button when posting, but I’m not quite sure of the consequences. I can’t see a useful help note. Could someone please explain exactly what happens when this button is pressed. Thanks in advance.

  For god’s sake don’t do it. It hooks you up irrevocably with a scam agency. It’s horrible. I really can’t say it enough.

  Also, turn off the feedback sidebar after posting from the Screen Options tab in your Post/Page Editor and you’ll never need to be tempted again.

  Wow. Thank you. Saved in the nick of time. Seems I was right to be suspicious. How strange that WP should think that having this deceptively integrated option is a good idea.

  It is mortifying to me that WP.com allows such a connection.
