Añadir pluggins a un dominio comparado en wordpress.com

Muy buenas.
El otro día compré un dominio en wordpress.com que es francispenalba.com. Directamente me creó una página en wordpress. Mi pregunta es si a esa página o blog le puedo añadir pluggins? Si no es posible; qué he de hacer para cambiar mi dominio de alojamiento?

We don’t allow plugins on WordPress.com for security reasons. Plugins are a feature only available for self-hosted blogs provided through WordPress.org.

Aunque seguiré investigando sobre cómo pasar mi dominio a un alojamiento distinto que me permita instalar wordpress.org. Si supiera alguien como hacerlo, estaría encantado en escucharle.
