  When you are editing a page, in the menu is: ‘Insert’ – ‘Anchor’.
  When you insert an anchor, an anchor icon appears on the page. BUT, there is no clue on what to do next!

  Hi,

  WordPress.com editors do not, as far as I know, nor have they ever, included anchor icons in their toolbars. Are you referring to a WordPress.org site?
