Annual Billing
-
I just created an account and selected the $25 per month option thinking I could try the premium features for a month and decide if I want to continue. However, its not clear WordPress are going to allow me to do this now I see I was charged the $300 annual fee. Can I cancel any time and get a refund of the balance or do I need to cancel the whole account?

It sounds like you purchased the Business plan rather than the Premium plan. All upgrades are billed annually in advance but if you change your mind within the first 30 days (48 hours in the case of domains) you can request a refund by following the instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

Hi unitedforposperity,
I see I was charged the $300 annual fee.
Our plans are billed in one yearly payment, which is why you were charged the full $300 for the Business plan.
Can I cancel any time and get a refund of the balance or do I need to cancel the whole account?
As @themagicrobot mentioned, we can issue a refund for the plan cost within 30 days of purchase but domains can only be refunded within 48 hours of registration.
If the Business plan doesn’t work out, we can help you downgrade to another plan and refund the difference (within 30 days). There’s no need to close your account and start again :)
