  I can’t find the appearance tab in my dashboard. I was given access to this website from someone else.

  To edit the site’s appearance, you need to have an administrator role. The best course of action is to contact the site owner or the person who granted you access to the website and ask them to elevate your account to an administrator. This will give you full access to all the features in the dashboard, including the Appearance tab.
