Archives Missing

  Hello! Read the previous Archives Missing support log. However, it really does not help me know what to do…or if I have a particular problem. I’m missing October’s archives and even March.

  Suggestions? Thanks! (and I’m very non-techy) :)

  We do not create Archives the software does automatically. Whenever we publish a post it automatically appears on the running page for posts (front page unless we set a static front page), it appears on the Categories and Tags pages we assign to the post.

  Note that posts and pages are completely different. Pages are for static content that rarely changes and they sit outside the blog structure so they do not appear in Archives.

  If you are referring to the blog linked to your username then I do see an Archives widget in your sidebar with links to post published in:
  Archives

  October 2011
  September 2011
  June 2011
  May 2011
  December 2010
  August 2010
  July 2010
  June 2010

  If you are referring to different blog then please post an active link starting with http:// to the blog in question. If you are not referring to another blog and are clear on the differences between pages and posts and your posts are missing you will have to contact Staff. Here’s the link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ After you use the searchbox, under the search results, at the bottom of the page there will be a section that says “Have you found the answer to your question?” You can choose either “Yes I found the answer to my question.” or “No I didn’t find the answer to my question and I would like to contact support for help.” The no option will reveal the contact form.
