Article under Pages
-
Hi, I wanna add different aspects on my blog.
I want if people click on the menu under the header then a Page show up. As example Musik. When I make a new post I want that it goes to the music pages not to the main page. But there is no option to say “add this post to page Musik”.What I want is what any webpage has. A Navigation when You click “Amsterdam” then you find a main page where you can find all post, pictures etc from Amsterdam.
So If I can’t add a new post to a page. Is it possible to make whole “blog” on this page?
Or have I to add for every post with a big topic a categorie? And then link the categorie on the menu (but that isnt what I want) I want a subwebsite under my website…
I hope you people get it it is hard to explain in english.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi –
You will set that up with categories. The category gets linked in to the site menu. When a visitor goes to that link they see all the posts under that category. Does that sound like what you want to do?

In someway yes
But it is very complicated especially when you do it backwards, you have to edit every old entry and give it the perfect category. Is it possible to do a category in a subpage like sonju.blog/musik/category/Rockmusic
Then it would fit almost perfect
Or is it only possible to do blog/category/musik/rockmusic (i found the option for the subcategory)

Is it possible to do a category in a subpage like sonju.blog/musik/category/Rockmusic
That is not possible, no, as a category cannot have a page set as its parent. It can only have another category set as its parent.
Or is it only possible to do blog/category/musik/rockmusic (i found the option for the subcategory)
Correct.
