I have a question about recovering a website for a friend.
My friend, Jeongjun Gwon, lost his website due to his credit card expiring and wanted me to ask you about how to recover his website. He did not notice that the card had expired until now.
If he registers his new credit card, is it possible to recover his website?

Hi @coolbyhan, your friend’s domain is not registered here, or anywhere as far as I can tell. It seems they can go ahead and re-register if they’d like.

So it there any way to recover his website or any of the content that he had on the site?
If he re-registers, he will have lost everything or is there a way to start the domain back up?

Hi there,
The domain gwonjeongjun.com was connected to his WordPress.com site gwonjeongjun.wordpress.com, therefore all of its content is still there.
If he still wants to use that same domain he needs to log in to his WordPress.com account and re-register it by following these instructions:
