Assigned author cannot publish post

  I am a new Administrator taking over our parish web site. When I edit a page I get this message.

  An error occurred while saving the post.
  Assigned author cannot publish post

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Is the person who is the author for that page still listed under “users”? Or is it someone who was once a user of the site but no longer is?

  Thanks, I worked it out. I didn’t realize each page has an assigned author and even though you are the administrator you can’t change a page unless you assign yourself as the author.
