Atavist Project Gone

    Hello,

    I am contacting support not about this site, but about my Atavist blog. I had my capstone journalism project saved on Atavist and had no idea that the platform was shutting down. I have read through other forums that say people received emails notifying them about this. It is possible that this email went to my college email address, which I no longer have because I graduated a few years ago. However, this project was very important to me and for my professional portfolio. I’d like to see if there is anyone at Atavist or WordPress who could help me out to recover this.

    Hi there,

    Atavist has stopped exports as of June 28, so we can no longer assist with this: https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/atavist-help/

    Atavist sent out migration instructions to all users at the beginning of March and shut down on 23rd April. They were still able to export sites on request until the June date, but that is no longer possible at this time.

    Perhaps you can try using the web archives to see if you can recover data there?
