‘Attempt Block Recovery’

When I open two of the pages on my website, they always show up without any of the buttons, and there is a message at the top which reads ‘This block contains unexpected or invalid content’ and then gives options of ‘Resolve’ ‘Convert to HTML’ ‘Convert to Classic Block’ or ‘Attempt Block Recovery.’ The only option that restores the buttons is ‘Attempt Block Recovery.’ Again, this only happens on two of my pages, and ‘Attempt Block Recovery’ does restore all of the buttons the same as they were before, but do I have to click this every time to restore the buttons when I edit these pages?

Which two pages are these? Can you give me links to them, or tell me their titles? And which buttons exactly? The sharing buttons at the bottom, or something else?
The error you see happens when you create a block, and then manually modify the HTML code inside the block – most blocks typically only allow a limited range of modifications, and if you make a modification that’s not supported, even if it’s technically valid HTML code, you’ll see that error.
That should not in any way affect the display of the WordPress.com sharing buttons, though, as those live outside the editor.

I looked at the HTML, and I’m not sure what’s causing this error. But the blocks on both those pages do appear recoverable.
Edit each page in turn, click on the cover image, and click the three dots top-right of the block. Select the Attempt Block Recovery option, and the block should be restored.
After you do that, immediately update the post. If it then again breaks when you make a change, let me know exactly what you changed and I can have a look.
