attempted to cancel my account

I attempted to cancel my domain within the 48 hour allowed time. It said cancellation pending and so I checked back today to see if it still said it was pending as I was not refunded yet and it now says that my account is four days old and I can’t request a refund. My account remains active and the only email I recurved was one that said my private registration was refunded and canceled. Why is this? I requested the refund within 48 hours and never got it.

Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain smileandbeyourself.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using smileandbeyourself.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.
Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.

That is absolutely fine. I wanted to transfer to wordpress.org and decided to change my domain which is why I was canceling smileandbeyourself.com.
