  Now that I’ve paid for the space upgrade, I feel i deserve some help. For the past three hours I’ve uploaded an MP3 file. But when I go to the site of my blog, I get the box: DO YOU WANT TO SAVE THIS FILE? If I click, ‘yes’ then it takes 2 minutes to download and then plays. Is this right? shouldn’t it just play right away if it’s really loaded? Thanks for any help.

  It’s right for the way you’ve posted it. You’ve just not posted in in a playable manner. You need to put it within the audio player:

  BTW help is available to everyone, regardless of how much they’ve paid or not. We’re volunteers in the forum.

  That is, I’m guessing you’ve simply posted it as a clickable file. Without a direct link to the post, I can’t know for sure.
