  Audio file is too big. how to i convert to be small enough to download it to wp media file?

  To what site are you trying to upload the file? http://relativetome.wordpress.com/ is a free WordPress.com site, and it’s impossible to upload audio files to free sites – uploading audio on WordPress.com requires at least our Personal Plan:

  Accepted File Types

  To convert an audio file you’ll need to use software that was created for that purpose, like Audacity or something similar. We’re not able to help with that, nor are the WordPress.org forums, as that has nothing to do with the WordPress software.
