Audio Widget doesn’t allow .mp3, .mp4, or .wav files
-
I don’t understand why the audio widget only allows these formats
‘Allowed file types: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, pdf, doc, ppt, odt, pptx, docx, pps, ppsx, xls, xlsx, key, asc.
Maximum upload file size: 1 GB.’
Doesn’t make sense, since it’s an AUDIO widget… :/

I did, yes. And as I could read there, and I quote,
“Audio files must be .mp3, .m4a, .ogg, or .wav type”Except that, in fact, the widget doesn´tallow it :l

Are you inserting the file from a specific URL? If so, what is the URL?
If you’re trying to upload the file, you’ll need a paid plan to upload audio files here: https://wordpress.com/support/audio/

Hello, thank you for your help.
Indeed, I don’t have a paid plan. That must be why it doesn’t allow me to upload those kind of files.I also tried to insert a URL but it also didn’t work. I tried this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkO3Y5Mvcf8

You’ll only be able to include a URL that is specifically a .mp3, .m4a, .ogg, or .wav file, YouTube links won’t work.
For a YouTube item, follow this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/videos/youtube/#adding-to-your-sidebarfooter
