    i follow the instructions for how to embed, by simply pasting URL on its own line. But instead of the player showing up, it just inserts a link instead.

    Hi there!

    Have you ensured that the link is not only on its own line but also on its own paragraph? If the link is not pasted on a new paragraph, the embed will not work.

    Also, have you previewed the post/page to see if the embed doesn’t show up on the site?
