Auotmatic links
-
Why are automatic links appearing in my blog. I paid for the ad free site, my husband did too, he is The Forester Artist. Starting last week, some of our words in our blog posts are automatically linking to ads related to those words. Then we have to go in and edit the post so the ad links are removed.
I understand this for a free site BUT we paid for ad free sites. Why is this happening? -
I did not see that ad when visiting the site. If you do see it again, please make a screenshot and upload it via Media -> Add New in your blog’s Dashboard. We take this very seriously.
Here’s how to make a screenshot:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/make-a-screenshot/Please note that it’s possible for ads to appear in your browser that were not placed there by WordPress.com. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.
These sites have further explanation and suggestions for eliminating the ads:

I removed the links by editing the text. The next time it happens I will leave it so you can see it. It is not an ad like google ads or the typical ads I see on other blogs. This actually makes a link in a word of blog text. The link attaches to a word, underscores it twice and then pops up an ad. It looks like a link a user puts in the blog text, like a ping back.
My husband had this happen with his WordPress blog, different computer, different browser, different user.Again, I will let you know when it happens again before I disable it.
