  • Can you let us know what email address you’re checking? You can type it here and our forum software will redact it, so only staff will be able to see it. We’ve sent an email to the domain owner’s address.

    Well, I am cheching (email visible only to moderators and staff). But all my email-accounts are automatically transmitted to my main account (email visible only to moderators and staff) – so it does not matter which email the message is sent to. Thanks / greetings, Wolf Achim Wiegand

    Thanks, it looks the correct email address is on your Account Settings page. If you haven’t done so already, please check your spam folder in case the email has gone there. Are you able to find it?

  • @ellobito01 did you at least receive our helpdesk ticket at that address? If you aren’t receiving our direct email or the auth code, it could be a problem with the address. Can you talk to your mail provider?

    It turns a little spooky by the time. My email accounts are in order. Who would be the company name which should send me the auth code urgently needed? Could I myself contact them? Or Text These Emails sdditionally: (email visible only to moderators and staff) (email visible only to moderators and staff) (email visible only to moderators and staff). Hope the matter can be sorted out soon.

  • @ellobito01 the auth code is being sent, and our email was sent. Both are going to the address you listed as your main account, but you are not receiving them at that address, correct?

    Correct. I wonder what can be so difficult to send an auth code. Please, send it to one or all email adresses given above!

  • Hi there,

    The auth code cannot be sent manually. It is sent directly from our domain provider’s systems, and it can ONLY be sent to the email address that you have specified as your domain admin contact. That is the email address you provided when you registered your domain, which is not necessarily the same as the email address you’re using for your WordPress.com account.

    If you want to check which email address this is, you can do so here:

    I don’t see a request for the auth code in the logs for the domain, auftrittsberater.blog, and our domain provider has not sent any emails. The only way to obtain the auth code is by initiating a domain transfer, here:

    https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/auftrittsberater.blog/transfer/out/european.expert

    But at this time there is also no point in requesting the auth code. You registered the domain, auftrittsberater.blog, three days ago on 4 June. ICANN regulations prohibit the transfer of any newly registered domain for a period of 60 days after registration, so it is not possible for this domain to be transferred until at least the first week of August.
