Authenticated RSS Feeds

  Hi! Does WordPress.com support HTTP Digest Authentication?
  I’m trying to add a Livejournal blog that has protected posts to WordPress.com’s feed reader. Despite adding ‘?auth=digest’ to the end of the RSS address I still can’t see the protected posts.

  Hi there,

  Are you speaking of the Reader? For non-WordPress.com sites it will only show posts that are publicly accessible in the feed. We don’t support authentication for feeds from other providers.
