author page not showing users posts

    about two months ago the author pages on my site stopped working. When I look at my users (I72 authors and 23 editors) it shows 0 posts to them. We have 7524 published articles! I have read up online forums but am banging my head against the wall on this one. The site is called Bookstr and I need to straighten this out.

    Can you tell us the full URL of the site you need help with?

    The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here is only a week old, and only owns one site, https://feedmesdotcom.wordpress.com/, which only contains the demo content with which it was created.

    Hey Kokkieh,

    Thank you for getting back to me. The site is https://bookstr.com/ I have looked further into things and they have several custom post types that were set up by a previous developer. If its a post type at all it should register the authors no?
