authorize the jetpack connection page goes to blank screen?

I’m trying to connect my wordpress.org website to my old wordpress.com blog. When I go to the authorization page and enter in my login information the screen goes blank and I am unable to connect. How can I fix this?

Hm, it shouldn’t do that.
Do you have any luck if you disable all other plugins?
Theme functions can also interfere like plugins, so if that doesn’t work, please try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme.
