Auto Save seems to stop working after I post my first picture – why?

  When working on a new post auto save saves my text until a insert a picture. From there on, all that is saved is the text entered before the picture was inserted. Twice now I’ve completed an entire post that only had the first 1/4 of the content saved – again, only the content typed before the first picture insert. What makes this happen?

  I’ve now begun to cut and past my work into a word doc so I don’t have to recreate all my writing once I find the autosave didn’t do what it is supposed to.

  I figure I’m doing something wrong, or have some setting incorrect. Advice?????
