Automatic renewal charge for closed account

    I am trying to get in contact with somebody who can issue a refund on a automatic renewal charge I have received. The subscription was cancelled and the account was closed, therefore I have no access to the payment history.

    Hi there,

    A WordPress.com account cannot be closed while there are still any active upgrades in the account, so if you were charged it means the account still exists.

    Do you know the username of the account or the address of the site for which this charge was made?

You can also use the Contact Us link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.
