Autosaving never ends

Autosaving never ends and therefore I am not able to publish my text since you can’t press the publish button. How can I fix this issue? New to WordPress and don’t understand a lot about it yet…

That site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.
That said, are you using the WordPress.com editor via Jetpack, or the built-in editor in WP-Admin?
If you’re using the built-in editor, please ask the WordPress.org community for advice instead. They provide support for the version of WordPress you’re using:

If you’re using the WordPress.com editor, please see if clearing your browser cache makes any difference. If you’re using any ad-blocker or privacy add-ons in your browser, also try disabling those – plugins like those might be blocking the JavaScript code the editor needs to work.
