  How do I backup wordpress so that I can upload it to my webhosts servers? I downloaded the plug in but cant figure out how it works.

  Hi!

  So I’m still having difficulty exporting from wordpress.com to my web host name.com. They are telling me that I need to install a backup plugin on my site to be able to export and import on their version of wordpress. Any idea what to do?

  Your host is probably going to be able to answer that question better than I am. It sounds like they have some restrictions on the import and export functionalities in WordPress on their servers. But those restrictions are going to be specific to their service.

  You should follow up with them about what you need to install in order to import your site.

  So now when I export the site it doesn’t export the theme or any of the pics or widgets I have created?

  Exports do not include themes or widgets and only include references to your image files. Your original site needs to be available for the images to be automatically imported.

  Sure! I’ve just issued a refund for that theme. It normally takes around a week for a refund to appear on your bank statement.
