Backend posting option now shows blocks?

Hi All, The backend of my website for posting has changed. It nows shows blocks and error msgs ‘this block as encountered an error and cannot be previewed’ – I cannot post a blog post. My developer told me WordPress is updating and it may take a couple of days. I cannot imagine this is true. Is anyone else having this issue?

You’ve just created an account here at WordPress.com. What is the full address of your site and is it hosted here? If your unnamed site isn’t hosted here then you’re asking in the wrong support forum. If your site is using the WordPress.org software and you don’t want to use the new “block” editor then ask your developer to install the classic editor plugin for you.
