Background issues

  I’ve been trying to change the background on my site, issue is that I have applied the changes yet nothing actually changes on the site itself, the basic placeholder background is still there. How do I apply a new background and have it work?

  Hi there,

  I don’t see any background set for your site in the Customizer. It’s set to the default white background for this theme.

  If you’re speaking of the image with the mountains behind your front page text, that’s not your site’s background. That’s the background of the individual Cover block within which your homepage content is added.

  To change that, edit the page at My Site ->Site ->Pages, click on the Cover block, and change the background via that block’s settings:
