Backing up uploads/media library

  Hi, I know I can backup my posts, comments, etc. using ‘Export’, but is to possible to also backup my uploads / media library – i.e. the pictures used in my posts? I don’t see an easy way to get hold of all of these.

  Not really. I keep a folder on my desktop with all the images, etc., that I upload to my blog so I always have them. The only problem of course is that if I ever have to upload them again for some reason, they are going to go into different (current date) directories which means I’m going to have to go in and correct all the links to them in my posts.

  With as much server redundancy as WordPress.com has the likelihood of them losing any of your images is quite remote. That is one of the big advantages to blogging at WordPress.COM.
