Bait and Switch

I am wondering why I can’t check out for the monthly plan that I chose. My checkout is over $100 and I cannot change this to be paid monthly. I asked your AI chat, and they said I have to reach out via this to ask for the plan that you are advertising? Can someone reach back out and explain how this is not a bait and switch? I am not using WordPress, this is disingenuous and makes me feel this is not a site to be trusted. Very weird, very disappointing. Looking forward to your response.

If you definitely want to pay for a plan then just change the dropdown to monthly. However it is a big waste of money to pay monthly. You get no free custom domain for the first year, no support and you will pay 62% more over the course of a year. As I say, if you are determined to upgrade, an annual plan is far more sensible.
