Banner edit is non existent in my dashboard for 'basis' theme

I have bought the ‘basis’ theme and cannot edit the banner at all.

The video that advertises this theme has a drag and paste function for building the site- including the homepage and banner.

Can you please tell me how to change the banner in this theme?

Otherwise, If I cannot in fact edit the banner of the site then I would like my money back for the theme as I bought it so I could make the site look quite similar to the example site (there is no banner at all in my version.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

You first need to create a new page in Pages->Add New in your Dashboard, and choose the “Product Template” from the Template dropdown in Page Attributes as pictured here:
    Page Attributes

Once you’ve created a page with that template, you’ll see the drag-and-drop and then you can proceed to follow the directions under The Product Page here, to add your banner, etc:

Let me know if you still get stuck! Your theme takes a bit of setting up before it looks like the demo. You might want to add some dummy posts and images to make it easier for you to see how everything will look.
