  I keep trying to start observingeye.wordpress.com and I am told that it is reserved. I am the holder of the domain observingeye.com What is going on? I am not trying to do domain mapping. I am trying to sign up for the free version at this point.

  observingeye.wordpress.com is reserved by the observingeye account – when an account is opened at WordPress.COM a blog is reserved for that account – names here are not related to names not on WordPress.COM – so the fact that you have observingeye.com is not relevant at all – either map that domain to a blog here or find a different name. That are the two choices you have
