Beginning of text not displaying in the recent articles section

    Hello there.

    On recent articles I would like to see the beginning of the text for each article. This was fine when I created the blog but one day for some reason it got changed and since then it displays the following text:
    ‘Pat bio: view complete profile’

    Would it be possible to change this to how it was before? Many thanks
