Being able to edit one’s own comment on someone else’s site.

    Am I not understanding how to edit(or even delete) a personal comment left on another’s site? And if that feature is not available, why not? That is basic functionality. Its not like a tattoo that should be permanent. Now, yes the site owner can delete or even edit it, that’s great, maybe, but not always. I want control of ALL of my comments. Thanks.

    That feature isn’t available or even possible as it would need access to every site where you commented which would be an unauthorised infringment regarding privacy and security.

    The only way to do so is by contacting the owner of that site and ask if he is willing to edit or delete your comment. But there is no way you can force him to do so.
