Best Option to use WordPress

    Hello,
    I am redesigning my department’s website. We already have a domain name and a host server that we cannot transfer because its through the university. How can/should I best use WordPress and the available templates on our own host server, etc?

    There’s no way to edit or delete posts here, on the forums. Was there something you wanted to clarify?

    It looks like you’re using the open-source WordPress software from WordPress.org – that’s not the same as WordPress.com.

    We, WordPress.com, are a cloud-based platform where we manage WordPress sites, whereas WordPress.org is stand-alone software that you can download and self-host with any other hosting.
