Big problems with aligning images

    Please could someone advise me as to how I can align two images side by side in the ‘Nishita’ theme ? I have this on the widest setting as I like the widest format possible. I have tried to set two photos side by side many times, following the instructions on the help page about using the ‘align text’ buttons but to no avail. In the posting box, the two pics are sitting happily side by side, but when I go to view the updated post, there they are, stubbornly lined up one above the other !! How utterly frustrating !! It’s doubly annoying because there is clearly room for two pictures, but they just won’t re-align.
    I have tried re-sizing too – the original size of the photos has been altered down to a ridiculously small width – 290 px – and then they suddenly click into place, but I can’t believe that I can’t have them bigger when there is clearly space for a third picture besides them.

    Nishita Quick Specs (all measurements in pixels):
    The main column width is 1024 for the Photoblog layout, and 768 for the Blog layout.
