    Good afternoon,

    I need help cancelling an account with auto renew. This was for New Milford Public Schools. I no longer work there and would like my name off the account and fee refunded. I have tried everywhere to contact billing but can not find a live person to assist

    I tagged this with modlook to get attention from Staff. It’s very important you log in with the account that got charged, otherwise it’s difficult for Staff to trace you.

  • Hi there,

    What is the site URL? Do you personally still have access to the account because the WordPress.com account you are contacting us from isn’t connected to the upgrades you paid for. We will need verification that you own the upgrades in order to cancel and refund them.

    To confirm ownership, post in this thread under the username/account that purchased the upgrade. Then, I can look into refunding the subscription purchase.

    If you aren’t sure about the charge on your bank statement, you can fill out the form at wpchrg.com and it will help you find the correct account along with what you were charged for. You an also reach out to billing support there directly.

    I no longer have access to the account, but the email may have been (email visible only to moderators and staff). I can give you the email of the finance director at new milford if that will help?

  • No worries. If you can find your bank statement of the transaction, you can provide the transaction ID listed on the statement, and that is all I need to cancel and refund the upgrades. However, don’t provide that information here.

    Just let me know if you have it and I will email you for that information. We should probably reach out to the financial director as well just to let them know that we canceled the upgrades on the site.

    That won’t work, I really just need to cancel the District membership and refund my money? Can anyone help?

  • If you reach out to that email address with the billing screenshot that you have, we can either help you gain access to the account, or just cancel and refund it.

    Either way though, we need that screenshot, and since it’s billing information, we can’t have it posted here in the public forums.

    So, please use passwordhelp@wordpress.com to send that to us.
