Billing after cancellation of subscription

    Hi, I canceled my WordPress premium since Mar 2018, and I received an email informing me of the cancellation and refund on 11 Mar 2018. However, since Apr 2018 till this month, WordPress has been charging a monthly premium to my credit card. Please refund accordingly. Thank you.

    Your Premium plan for the fameseafood.net site was indeed canceled on March 2018 and you received a full refund for it. Since then you haven’t made any other purchase and we haven’t charged you anything.

    Can you please check the charges made to your card through the following tool to see if they indeed originate from WordPress.com?

    Thanks for the reply.

    Yes, I entered my card info and it says that the charges are indeed from WordPress.com. There has been a monthly recurring charge from the Mar 2018.

  • No WordPress.com upgrades renew monthly as all our plans are billed annually.

    The last charge I see in your account was the annual renewal of your Premium Plan on 28 February 2018. You cancelled that plan and we issued a refund on 11 March. Your account shows no charges since then, and you have no active upgrades on your account.

    Is there any possibility that you have another WordPress.com account? The only upgrades that renew monthly are Jetpack plans, but your account does not own any of those.

    On that page @fstat linked to where you looked for the charge, there is also a contact form. Please submit a ticket via that form – that goes directly to our billing support team who can help you look into this further.

    Hi there,

    I do not have another WordPress.com account.

    I tried going to that link but it keeps leading me back to the contact form for posting my question to the public forum. I hope I can get access to a support staff directly. Is it possible to get someone to email me?

  • The contact link on that site goes to the form at https://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?whywasi=charged

    That form does not post to the forums, and you don’t even have to be logged into an account to use it. Please submit that form, including all the information required, and your billing team will follow up with you via the email you provide there.

    If that form is routing you back to the regular contact form, please let me know.
