Bit.ly verification for site tracking

  First, thank you for such an awesome platform!

  I’d like to use the bit.ly service, and I really, REALLY want to use a custom domain for it, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do that. Please, oh, please, will you add bit.ly ownership verification at least (similar to how you have Google, Bing and Pinterest site verification) so that I can track link performance? This is a business web site. Thank you!!

  Is the answer to add the CNAME record to the Domains panel, i.e.:

  CNAME [unique_cname] cname.bitly.com.

  Like that?
