  Hi there,

  If you would like a site that has a dark background with light text, I would first recommend picking a theme that has that style by default, such as the themes here:

  – https://wordpress.com/theme/remote

  Your other option is to modify the Global Styles that your current theme uses, to make the background dark and the text light. More info on how to make those changes here: https://wordpress.com/support/using-styles/
