  “Hi there! I’d like to add a dark overlay on top of lady justice on my website at https://gpc491.wordpress.com/. I’d like it to be darker so the white text is more easily read, but so we can still see lady justice. Can someone help me with the code to adjust that opacity?

  Hi there, this can get a bit complex. What would be easier would be to edit your original image in your image editing program and make the image darker and then upload and use that image.
