Blacklisting of Telstra by WordPress by email account

  • Unknown's avatar

This is the message from my Domain Host – ‘However what it shows is that WordPress is hosting your website and they said it is there where the issue lies/it is there were you need to go and check and find out if Telstra got blacklisted.
I found it odd that when I entered your URL I got a weird WordPress error message. Might be good to check that all out with your WordPress support person.’

I would appreciate your assistance, thank you,
    regards, Susan Wilson

Staff can read redacted email addresses. I will type modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for a Staff follow-up. How do I get a Moderator/Staff reply for my question? https://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-help-in-the-forums/#how-do-i-get-a-moderatorstaff-reply-for-my-question

Hi Susan, what is the domain name that you are having issues with. Is it susanwilson.net.au?

Yes, my domain name is susanwilson.net.au

  • You are getting a WordPress.com error message because you have that domain pointed to our name servers, but there is no mapping upgrade on our end that is connecting the domain to the site.

But we have no control whatsoever over your domain, and we don’t even have the ability to block it from use somewhere else. Only your domain provider would be able to do that.

To use that domain with Telstra, you need to contact the registrar where you bought that domain, which appears to be https://www.tppwholesale.com.au/, and ask them to point the domain to Telstra instead of pointing it to us. You’ll need to ask Telstra for the name server records or IP address that your domain provider will need to do this.

But we cannot help with this – we lost the little control we had over your domain the moment you disputed your payment for your domain mapping upgrade in February 2016 and that upgrade was removed from your account.
