Blank Pages and Media Library

I am a ‘novice’ at WordPress. Someone else set up our website and I just do minimal edits. I am extremely frustrated as I am getting the following: When I am on our server at the office (being used as a virtual computer), I get blank pages with all of the edit info at the bottom so I am not able to see what to edit. When I am on my home computer, I am able to see the pages to edit, but the media library is a complete white page. When one of our volunteers logs in from her computer, everything works fine. This tells me that it can’t be one of the plugins, right? I would really appreciate some help…in the most simple terms. :-) TIA

  • Hi there,

What is the URL of the site you’re working on? The account you used to create this forum thread doesn’t own any sites on WordPress.com.

From what you describe it sounds like not all files for your site are being loaded in your browser, and the most likely explanation would be that access to the servers those files are being loaded from are being blocked on the network level.

If someone else on the same network, but a different computer, are able to access the site just fine, then it could be the browser cache or DNS cache on the specific computer you’re using, or even a browser add-on.
