Blocking "leave a reply"

  is there a way to block the “leave a reply” message from appearing on certain pages? i have 3 pages on my site, and i’d really like to have comments only appear on my main page.

  thanks for you all your help, i feel like i’m chasing my tail at this point!

  You can turn off commenting on a page by page/post by post basis. Look for the Discussion module in the Page/Post Editor. If you don’t see it, make sure it is enabled by clicking on the Screen Options tab at the top of the Editor.
