Blocking people/bots that only writes spam

Hi,
is it possible to block people/bots whom writes spam in comments on my blog? It’s really annoying and it keeps coming more and more comments about sex toys, casino websites, etc – and I do not appreciate such things at all. And often it comes more than one of those comments from the same ip.
I’ve been trying to look and trying to find somewhere to block them, but I can’t find anything …Any help is appreciated.

Here’s my blog, only a heads up though, it’s set so the things it deems as spam isn’t approved until I approve it, so none of the comments are viewable and I tend to get annoyed with them to the point where I just delete them when I can’t find how to block them … /;

Hello again, it looks like your above blog is using the standalone WordPress software, hosted at one.com, rather than being hosted here on WordPressdotcom.
Just to explain, WordPress comes in 2 flavors: the fully hosted WordPressdotcom ( where we are) and the open source WordPress (org) project at https://wordpress.org This support guide explains some of the differences between them: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
You’ll want to look into installing an anti-spam plugin on your WordPress site to help you manage spam if you haven’t already done so. If you need recommendations for an anti-spam plugin, please post at https://wordpress.org/support. If you did install a plugin and have questions about it, the best place for help would be the forum for that specific plugin on the ORG site.
