I created a wordpress account, and also signed up with bluehost for hosting. I have written a blog post and have gone to my website and the blog post doesn’t show up. Its like I have never written anything ever! Is there something I am missing? Is there something I didn’t set up correctly? Are there certain settings that I have to have turned on in order for my wordpress account to connect with my bluehost account? It was my understanding that bluehost basically makes it so I ‘own my website address’, and it that it doesn’t determine what is posted/written for my blog, is that the correct understanding? What am i missing here? I appreciate your help!

The site scatteredmom.com appears to be a self-hosted, WordPress (also called “.org”) site. We do not have access to the backend of WordPress.org sites, so I can not assess the issue that you are having with your posts.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see:
However, if you have access to the server control panel through your web host, it is always possible to regain access to a self-hosted, WordPress site. This WordPress.org Codex article will walk you through the steps:
