  The blog address that I would love to use says that site is already reserved, but when I try to view it there is no existing website. Is there a way to check if it is still active or not actually taken so that I can use the blog address? Thank you!

  If it says it is reserved, you cannot have it. It is reserved for someone else and whether they use it or not doesn’t effect that. Pick a new URL.
