blog and webpage

  Hi!

  I set up a wordpress page awhile back – https://eithni.wordpress.com/ – and had actually mostly been developing my webpage through godaddy’s internal system – http://www.eithni.com – and now godaddy wants me to use the wordpress editor. I can get into the dashboard, but it won’t let me customize anything (the little grey dial just keeps spinning) and ideally I would like to merge the new and the old pages/blogs.

  How do I get in to customize my webpage?

  Is there a graceful way to merge the blog and the webpage at eithni.com?

  Your self-hosted site at GoDaddy and your WordPress.com website are entirely separate entities.

  You can export the content of your WordPress.com website and then import it into your self-hosted WordPress site at GoDaddy once you’ve set up the WP software there. Here’s the instructions on how to do that, but for any assistance at the import end you’ll need to contact the support forum at https://wordpress.org/support/

  Export Your Website’s Content

  As I do not know what this will do to the existing content at your current self-hosted website, you may already want to ask at those forums or at GoDaddy.

  Any idea of what to do about the fact that it won’t even let me IN to make any changes on the godaddy site?
