    hi I have a basic blog and a business WordPress site – why do they not recognise each other? i want my blog to appear on my site and my site to appear on my blog but it just keeps saying i don’t have one.

    Hi there,

    What are the URLs of the sites in question?

    The WordPress.com username account you’re using to post here has never owned any sites with us.

    If these are WordPress sites hosted somewhere else, they have no connection at all to either your WordPress.com account or to one another. WordPress is just a piece of software, and there is no way for any one WordPress site you own to even know that you own another one, never mind link to it automatically.

    If you want the two sites to link to one another, you need to add those links manually by adding them to the site menu, or a widget, or somewhere.
